Workability

Workability
Funded by the California State Department of Education, the Workability program assists special education students with transition to employment. In addition to coaching on interviewing skills, resume writing, behavioral expectations, and job interests, the Workability Job Club counselor assists in placing students into training positions.

Students can be referred to the State Department of Rehabilitation (DOR). Its mission is to provide services and advocacy resulting in employment, independent living, and equality for individuals with disabilities.
