Andreas Papoutsis, Dean of Math and Science
Dre Papoutsis spent his first two years of undergraduate studies at Oakland University in Rochester Hills, Michigan. He was drawn to Oakland University by a scholarship and their strong soccer program. During his first season there, they were national runner-ups. In pursuit of a stronger academic pre-med program, he transferred to the University of Arizona in Tucson. While at the UA he captained the soccer team, and in 1999 completed his B.S. in Biology with a minor in Chemistry/Physics/Mathematics. Following graduation he enrolled in graduate school at the UA. His graduate major was teaching and teacher education, with an emphasis in the marine sciences and curriculum development. Upon completion of his M.A. in 2001, Dre was hired on at NHP. He enjoys scuba diving, athletics, philosophy, and music. He is currently working on his Master’s in special education. |
