Karen is originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina and has lived in Los Angeles since 1989. She recently completed her B.A. in Psychology from CSUN and will be attending Yeshiva University in New York to begin a master's program in Social Work. Karen's professional backround includes teaching nursery school for five years, working as a camp counselor with teenagers, and leading a peer conseling group for teens. She is really excited to be a part of NHP. When not at work, Karen enjoys Israeli and Salsa dancing (a lot), knitting, hiking, traveling, and dogs (although she doesn't have any yet!).
