GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

This U.S. history course will examine the United States entering World War one. This class follows California Educational Standards 11.3

DAY	CLASSWORK	HOMEWORK
MONDAY	Discussion and lecture follows the reading, “Hardship and Suffering During the Depression”.	no homework.
TUESDAY	The students will start a poster project in which they will choose a picture by Dorothea Lange depicting people of the Great Depression and construct a poster using the picture and cut-out words to describe the picture. They will also adorn their poster with a typed story about their picture	no homework.
WEDNESDAY	cont	no homework.
THURSDAY	cont.	no homework.
FRIDAY	Multi-cultural day, early release.	no homework.
